A perfect toy

How many of you were searching a perfect gift for children? It isn’t a very simple task, and you know it, if you were trying to do it at least once. There are many colorful plastic toys all around, but that’s not exactly a perfect gift. The best present is something unusual, safe, and educational. Where to find it if not to do it yourself!

We prepared two cardboard toys that you can simply create with your own hands.

Materials for Biplane:

patterns kit DOWNLOAD FREE
three A0 format sheets of cardboard (841×1189 mm). You may buy new sheets in a hardware store, or recycle some old unnecessary boxes.
scissors and craft knife (or you may use laser cutting – just send the files to your local laser cutting company and get ready kit for assembly)
your favorite glue
several sheets of simple office A4 paper (210×297 mm)
good mood :)

Make Time: 20-30 Minutes (if you use laser cutting)

Materials for Racing car:

patterns kit + colored illustration of a steering wheel. DOWNLOAD it here
three A0 format sheets of tight three-layered cardboard (841×1189 mm). You may buy new sheets in a hardware store, or recycle some old unnecessary boxes.
three sheets of one-layered flexible cardboard.
scissors and craft knife (or you may use laser cutting – just send the files to your local laser cutting company and get ready kit for assembly)
your favorite glue

engage the children to join you – assembling of these toys is very fascinating process

You may create toys in two ways. The simplest way is to order laser cutting of parts and assemble it then. It will be very fast, easy, and fun, like assembling of a constructor. The second way is a bit more complex, but it is a great opportunity to pass the way of creating a new amazing toy from the same beginning. Just redraw the patterns on the cardboard, cut the details and enjoy the assembling process :)
