Eng I think every product designer knows the following chairs from the History of product design books/lectures because those 3 pieces truly made a history. The Siège à Dossier Basculant, Fauteuil grand confort and Chaise Longue were created by Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier. Perriand described the work as being highly collaborative, they were "three fingers on one hand"

In fact, they all three came up with this idea of 3 basic ergonomic body positions for work, rest and relax, but Charlotte Perriand was the one who made it happen. She completely took charge of the execution. She sourced the materials, found the people to work with metal and leather and made it happen. Then she invited Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret to her home where all 3 pieces they imagined and discussed were exhibited. She took them by surprise.
